Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the questions parents ask most often before and after starting with KORENANI. For deeper context, see the features, pricing, and data-flow guide linked below.

What ages is KORENANI designed for?

KORENANI is designed for families with children aged about 3 to 8. The App Store age rating is 4+, and the app is best used together with a parent.

Which recognition modes are available?

There are three modes: general, plant, and insect. Use general for everyday objects, plant for flowers and leaves, and insect for the small creatures kids love to watch.

How are my photos handled?

Photos are sent to KORENANI's API server so the recognition service can identify what's in them. Read "How Photo Data Flows During Image Recognition" and our privacy policy for the full details.

Does KORENANI support multilingual audio?

Yes. KORENANI supports 9 languages: Japanese, English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Chinese, and Korean. Labels and short descriptions can be heard in those languages.

How much does it cost?

Pricing varies by region and currency, so we don't print a single price on this site. To see what you'd pay today, search "KORENANI" on the App Store and check the in-app purchase screen.

Where can I compare monthly recognition limits?

Plan-by-plan limits (FREE, LITE, STANDARD, PREMIUM) are available on the pricing page and in the "KORENANI Plans and Monthly Quotas" blog guide.

Which platforms are supported?

KORENANI is currently available as an iOS app for iOS 16 or later. Search "KORENANI" on the App Store to download it.

Can siblings or multiple children use it?

Yes. Every plan supports up to 4 child profiles. Collections and quiz progress are kept separately for each child.

Can KORENANI recognize photos offline?

Image recognition requires a network connection. Photos are sent to KORENANI's API server and processed by the recognition service, so fully offline recognition is not supported.

How many recognitions are included in FREE?

FREE includes 10 general, 5 insect, and 5 plant recognitions per month. Families can also try 9-language audio, collections, and quizzes.

What kinds of photos work best?

Place the subject near the center, keep it well lit, and make it large enough in the frame. Choose the matching mode too: general for everyday objects, plant for flowers or leaves, and insect for insects.

Where do I change or cancel a plan?

Plan changes and cancellations are managed from your App Store account settings. The latest price and purchase status are also shown by the App Store.
